Modules

A module is an extra piece of functionality beyond the basic operation of the program. Simple Job Control has modules which allow more advanced features.

The out of the box setup for Simple Job Control is to have most of the modules turned off, this removes clutter and helps you get a grip on what is happening fast. However this does not maximise the feature set that you have access to.

If you find that you need a feature turned on(or off) for your account just email us and ask and we can turn it on for you. Right now there is no way for you to turn these on yourself.

Module settings are organisation wide.

Purchasing

• Enables purchase orders
• More complex materials/parts system on tickets screen
• Add a delivery information section to the tickets screen

Delivery information

• Add a delivery information section to the ticket screen
• Used for purchase orders

Estimated labour

• Adds an estimated labour section to the tickets screen
• Estimated labour can be used on quotes

Actual labour

• Adds and actual labour section to the tickets screen
• Actual labour can be used on quotes and invoices

Accounting integration (coming soon)

• Allows information to flow to/from your accounting package
